SIGN UP for a new Merchant Account to get started.


In the registration form fill in all important information about you and your business. Choose what type of business you are or how would you best describe your business, whether you are a retailer, liquidator, wholesaler or other type.
To make it easier for us in the future when invoicing your buyers, fill in all relevant information such as your Company name, registration number or VAT number if you have one.

As a part of your new Merchant Account, we will also give you an online STORE / SHOP where all your clearance deals are featured and a Business Card to present yourself or your business to other merchants and buyers.

When picking the username for your account, choose wisely, because your username will also be used to name your STORE and your Business Card.




  HOW DO I SUBMIT MY CLEARANCE STOCK AND CLOSEOUT DEALS FOR SALE ?

  HOW DO I RECEIVE ORDERS FROM BUYERS AND COMPLETE SALES ?


Whenever a buyer is ready to make a purchase from you, they can do so easily by clicking the BUY NOW button placed on your offer description page.
Buyer will then be taken to an online purchase order form. Here buyer fills in quantity he / she is interested in buying and the shipping / delivery address. Completed purchase order is firstly submitted to you for your approval and you will be notified by email as soon as your receive any new orders.

Once you receive the notification about a new order awaiting your approval, you will now be required to sign in to your account where you can review the details of your new purchase order.

You will be required to take an action and either ACCEPT or REJECT this new purchase order.

The only reasons for the rejection should be that the deal is either not available for sale anymore, you won't ship to buyer's destination, buyer is not verified or buyer has zero feedback.

To accept your new purchase order, simply click the ACCEPT button. The buyer will be notified immediately that his purchase order was accepted and instructed to make a payment for this purchase.

All payments are made to TheBiggestClearance.com and processed through our own safe and secure payment method - SafePay. Click here to read more about SafePay and the way we handle the payments.

Based on the information you gave us in the description when submitting your deal to the website, we will now prepare the invoice and invoice the buyer for the full amount plus estimated international or domestic shipping cost you specified and VAT if these are applicable.

We will notify you as soon as this invoice is sent to the buyer and forward you a copy of a proforma invoice we sent to the buyer for your review.

  HOW DO I GET PAID FOR WHAT I SELL ?


Once the buyer confirms a satisfactory receipt, we will now release and transfer your payment in full as received from the buyer including any shipping costs and VAT to your account. Our payment to you is made usually within 7 days after the day of delivery or collection of the order.
From this payment to you, we will deduct our Successful Sale Fee. This is a fee charged by TheBiggestClearance.com upon completing a successful transaction.

Successful Sale Fee equals to :

flat fee of ( GBP, USD or EUR ) 5 for orders below ( GBP, USD or EUR ) 100;
flat fee of ( GBP, USD or EUR ) 10 for orders from ( GBP, USD or EUR ) 101 to 200;
percentage - 5 % for orders above ( GBP, USD or EUR ) 200.

Our fee is calculated from the total selling price of your item cleared of the shipping costs or VAT if these were applicable. Our fee is deducted from the payment transferred to your account automatically.

Your Business Card works just like your User Profile. It will provide all information such as your company details and your activity on TheBiggestClearance.com, current stock offers and clearance deals on sale, your feedback from buyers and your overall reputation on TheBiggestClearance.com.

Every Business Card has a unique URL, for example my-business-card.thebiggestclearance.com. You will be able to distribute your Business Card between other Merchants and Buyers just by sending its link / URL and redirect them to your profile.

Buyers and Merchants will then be able to view your Card and activity on the website in one click, contact you with any enquiries or save your contact into their contact list for later to build up a business relationship with you.




  WHAT IS A STORE AND HOW DO I OPEN MY ONLINE STORE HERE ?


Whenever you submit a new offer, product or a clearance deal for sale on TheBiggestClearance.com, this item is also straight away listed in your online STORE. Automatically.

There is no need to apply for the Store, it comes all FREE as a part of your Seller's Account the moment you join the Marketplace and start listing your items for sale.

  HOW CAN I CONTACT MY BUYER ? - MESSAGE BOARD EXPLAINED


You are free to contact the buyer or other merchant at any time regarding their purchase or an order or just with enquiries about other listed clearance offer.
For your communication on TheBiggestClearance.com, you may use your Message Board, a handy tool used to send private messages to other users, receive messages from other users or store contact details for later use.

You must not however use the message board to give out your contact information, phone number, URL or email address to other merchants in order to start a private communication outside the website or any financial information in order to collect payments from buyers directly and close the deals outside TheBiggestClearance.com.

Your communication with buyers and other merchants users must strictly stay within the walls of our Marketplace and any users not respecting our simple rules may be immediately suspended from using the website and may be a subject to a fine.
This is for your own safety and security. We will not be able to help you with any future disputes if you deal outside our Marketplace.




  WHAT ARE THE SELLER FEES ?


Upon completing a successful sale, Merchants are charged a fee. We call it a Successful Sale Fee. This fee is calculated from the total selling price of your stock including the shipping costs, but cleared off the VAT.

For sales below the amount of 100 in any supported currency such as GBP, USD or EUR, there will be a flat fee of 5 ( in the
same currency the sale has been made in ).

For sales in between 101 - 200, there will be a flat fee of 10 ( again in the same currency the sale has been made in );

and for all other amounts above 200, there will be a percentage fee, exactly 5 % of the final sale price, see the table below.

   HOW DO I MAKE AN ORDER / HOW DO I PAY FOR MY PURCHASE ?


Once you found what you want to buy, make sure you read all related information to the advertised item or stock lot throughly. You don't want to miss any piece of information that may be important.

Make sure you understand seller's terms of sale and the returns policy. Make sure you understand the condition of the item you're intended to buy.

You will notice that some items are sold in TAKE ALL lots. This means that only a whole lot as advertised on the Marketplace can be purchased at once. Seller will not sell this lot in smaller quantities.

Some lots and offers are advertised for sale by MOQ - Minimum Order Quantity. This means the seller specified a minimum number of items that can be purchased.

Once you're completely satisfied, purchase the stock ( make an order ) by clicking the BUY NOW button.

Next, fill in the purchase order details, make sure you fill up your billing and delivery address completely and correctly. Finally, choose the type of payment you wish to proceed with for your purchase.

To ensure the maximum security of your payment and transaction, your payment will be made to TheBiggestClearance.com. We hold your payment on our secured holding account until you confirm to us that you have received your order.

Once you submit your order / purchase, the seller will be required to ACCEPT your order.

There is usually no reason for rejection of your order unless the goods are out of stock or sold out and haven't been updated on the website. The seller may also reject your order if its not available for shipping into your destination or if your account is not verified or you have zero or negative feedback and reputation on the website.

After your order has been accepted, we will prepare and send you an invoice for your purchase and ask you to make a payment.

All payments will be processed by our own payment service - SafePay. SafePay works on the basis of an escrow payment where your payment is made to our secured holding account and held there until you confirm you have received your order.

Payments other than our own are not secure and will not be covered by our Buyer Protection.




You must confirm to us you made a full payment including shipping costs and VAT if applicable within 24 hours of receiving our final invoice.

If we don't receive your payment within 3 working days ( 5 working days for bank transfers ) of you receiving our final invoice, your order will be cancelled. As a result, your account may be suspended or terminated or negative feedback and review may be left to you by the Seller.

Once we receive your payment, we will notify you and the seller straight away.
Depending on sellers shipping terms as described in the item description, the seller will now be required to either ship the stock to your destination or arrange for you to collect by you or your own the courier.





  CAN I REJECT OR RETURN THE ITEM ?


You may reject the goods only if they are faulty or do not match the product description given to you by the seller on the website. The Supplier will examine the returned goods and we will notify you of your refund via e-mail usually within 7 days.

Goods returned because of a defect will be refunded to you in full, including a refund for the delivery charges for sending the item to you (if any). However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to the supplier. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.




  WHAT GRADES AND CONDITIONS OF THE MERCHANDISE SELLERS SELL HERE ?


     NEW ( Brand New, Boxed )

New assets are in original packaging and possess all of the characteristics / qualities / features as advertised by the manufacturer. Traditionally, they are overstock items that were never offered for sale in a retail environment or used in any way.


     GRADE A, B, C

These items were previously available for sale in a retail environment but were never sold. They usually possess one or more price tags and / or stickers, indicating multiple markdowns, and have been exposed to appreciable customer contact. In addition, since most of these items are sent through a reverse supply chain (e.g. from a retailer back to a centralized warehouse), they can show signs of further handling. Accordingly, these grades may exhibit a wide range of individual product and package conditions that can differ substantially from the original manufacturing.

Grade A - Great Condition, could be also described as 'AS NEW'.
Grade B - Good Condition, may show marks and scratches on the product or packaging.
Grade C - Satisfactory Condition, may show more signs of use and handling, marks, scratches.


     REFURBISHED

Refurbished assets are used but have been inspected, tested, and restored to full working condition. They rarely come in original packaging and seldom contain any documentation or any additional parts and / or accessories. Due to their operational history, refurbished assets possess noticeable cosmetic defects and blemishes, including but not limited to dents, scratches, and signs of age.


     USED

Used assets were previously sold and put into use. They possess noticeable cosmetic defects and blemishes, including but not limited to dents, scratches, and signs of age. Since these assets are usually pulled from a working environment, they rarely come in original packaging and rarely contain any documentation, additional parts, and / or accessories. They are minimally tested to meet only the most basic requirements of functionality. Used assets therefore may not be in optimal working condition and may require additional maintenance and repair.


     RETURNS

Returned merchandise was sold to a customer, who then either physically brought the item back to a store or mailed it to a specified location. Reasons for returning a product may not have any correlation to its usefulness (i.e., size, color, model, etc.), and as a result that product may be in fine working order. The majority of returns, however, do have some operational and / or cosmetic problem. Depending on a company's return policy, these items may also reflect a measurable amount of use. For bank transfers, your payment must reach us no later then in 5 working days, but you must confirm to us of making a transfer within 24 hour of receiving our final invoice.


     GET YOUR STOCK.

This step is depending on seller's shipping terms you agreed to.
Seller either agreed to ship the stock lot on his or your own expenses or you agreed to collect the stock. In case of shipping the stock, one of our conditions is that your stock is shipped via trackable shipping service.


     CONFIRM THE RECEIPT.

The final step of the SAFEPAY transaction process is that you confirm the satisfactory delivery of the goods. You have exactly 48 hours from the point of receipt to inspect your stock that it has arrived in satisfactory condition and as described by the Seller.
Upon your receipt and confirmation of the delivered goods, we will release the funds held in our bank account to the Seller.



   Things you should watch out for.

Before buying any merchandise at all, find out about taxes, import tax, VAT etc. This is your responsibility !
All shipments must be shipped via trackable shipping service !





  PAYMENT PROCESSING FEES ?




     I AM PAYING IN £ GBP - BRITISH POUNDS.

When paying in £ - GBP, we will not charge you a fee when you choose to pay by standard Bank Transfer.

When paying by Credit Card or Paypal, a standard processing fee of 3.4 % + £ 0.25 will apply to your payment.



     I AM PAYING IN € EUR - EUROS.

If your order is in € - EUR, we will charge you a standard fee of € 20 to process your payment by Bank Transfer.

For Credit Card or Paypal payments, a standard processing fee of 4.0 % + € 0.30 will apply to your payment.



     I AM PAYING IN $ USD - US DOLLARS.

When paying in $ - USD, we will charge you a fee of 2 % of the total amount + $ 25 when you pay by standard Bank Transfer.

For USD transactions, we won't be able to process you payment via Credit Card or PayPal unfortunately.

  WHAT IS THE BUYER PROTECTION AND HOW DOES IT WORK ?




Buyer Protection is our guarantee that your payment will be held securely on our holding until you confirm a satisfactory delivery of your order.

Your payment will be released to the seller only after we receive your confirmation that the stock has been received or you give us consent to release the payment to the seller.

If the received delivery differs from its description, you will be entitled to a full refund. And of course the same applies if you don't receive your order at all.

Please Note, that our BUYER PROTECTION only applies to all transactions processed through TheBiggestClearance.com using SafePay. NO Buyer Protection will apply to any alternative payments. If the seller contacts you in private offering an alternative payment option, we suggest you report this seller to us.

It is prohibited to complete sales and transactions outside TheBiggestClearance.com. This will be considered as a breach of our User Agreement and you may face an immediate suspension of your account. This may also result in additional costs charged to you.   WHY DO I NEED TO GET MY SELLER'S ACCOUNT VERIFIED ?


Simply enough we need to know that you are a genuine seller and who you say you are. It is a law requirement that we verify all our sellers and suppliers before they're able to sell and trade on our Marketplace.

Plus we work towards a safe and secure marketplace and trading network and the Buyers will surely appreciate the fact that they are dealing with genuine sellers and suppliers rather than unknown sources.




  SUBMITTING MERCHANDISE - SELLER VERIFICATION


In order to submit your first time sale to our Marketplace, we will firstly need to verify your account. This could be easily done by either :

   verifying your phone number and its registered address or
   verifying your ID and becoming a Verified Merchant.




   PHONE VERIFICATION

Phone Verification is a simple and fast way to get you started selling your stock lots and products through our Marketplace.

This is a 1 time process and you will not need to verify again unless you change your address or your landline telephone number.
Upon submitting your first time stock offer and in case you are not a Verified Merchant, you will be asked to verify your landline telephone number and a postal address registered to this number.

When you choose to verify by phone, a blank field will come up asking you to input your landline telephone number.

Please Note ! The number you input must be in international format. For example for United Kingdom, you input 442071837085 - where 44 is the country code for UK, 207 is the city code for London without the first 0 ( 0207 ) when dialed in international format.

You don't have to input ' + ' character together with the country code as this is already pre-filled.

Check your postal address, make sure it is correct and complete and make any corrections necessary. Our system will be able to check and verify your provided information against various telephone directories.

Input your landline number into the empty field provided and press CALL ME button. Within few seconds you will receive an automated phone call, that will reveal a 4 digit PIN number.

Input this PIN number into the second field provided and press CONFIRM PIN button.

If your verification was successful, you will immediately get an access to the stock submission feature and will be able to add your products for sale.




   Remember !

Only landline telephone numbers are accepted !
No mobile phones, no toll free phones, no VOIP phone numbers etc.

Please note that Phone Verification will not give you the VERIFIED MERCHANT status.
You will be able to submit your products for sale however your status will remain UNVERIFIED MERCHANT until you pass the Merchant Account verification process described below.




  HOW DO I BECOME A VERIFIED MERCHANT ?


In order to become a Verified Merchant of TheBiggestClearance.com, you must provide us with 2 clear and readable verification documents. These are a PROOF-OF-ID and a PROOF-OF-ADDRESS. Both documents are required for your verification. These could be scans, copies or a good resolution digital photos.

Both verification documents can be easily attached to your email and emailed us at verification@thebiggestclearance.com or faxed to +442071837085. To your email or fax also include your Marketplace username and email address, so we can easily find your account and get you verified.

We will shortly confirm by email that your account has been verified successfully and you've been given a Verified Merchant status.




   PROOF-OF-ID

PROOF-OF-ID can be a scan, copy or a digital photo of the Passport, Drivers License or the National ID of either contat person for your business or the person your account on TheBiggestClearance.com is registered to.

Information that has to be clearly visible on this type of the verification document is the Name & Surname, Date of Birth and the signature.




   PROOF-OF-ADDRESS

PROOF-OF-ADDRESS can be a scan, copy or a digital photo of your Business or home address latest utility bill. i.e. bank statement, tax bill, VAT bill, electricity, water, telephone bill etc. The postal address on this document must match the address in your Account.

You may hide your financial or bank information if you wish. Important information that has to be visible is the postal address and a person or business the bill is addressed to.





   TIP !

If you don't have a scanner on hand, your digital camera or even camera phone will do the trick. Simply take a picture of your verification documents, import as file to your computer, attach to your email and Email Us.
